Fauxe brings a small party to the room—as he usually does. If you pay close attention, you’d notice that ‘Tekesima’ is a paradox. The tune, a sunny disposition that wants to mask inner fears presented in the lyrics. With the Singaporean producer’s spin on the song, you kinda forgot that the song was a little bit sad at all.
A prolific artist, Fauxe made 'Ikhlas' - an album inspired by an eight month stay in KL, which samples everything from Malay movies to Hokkien songs. He's just released the first of his ALTRUISM trilogy - a concept that also doubles as an improvisational community band.
